Every packet entering our network is classified and placed into a queue, from highest priority to background. Video calls, gaming and voice traffic go ahead of a background download, so the call does not stutter because someone upstairs started a backup.

Policy is applied at every hop — from our core routers, through your outdoor radio, and into your home network. Most providers hand off responsibility at the modem; Managed Wireless extends the same prioritization to the Wi-Fi inside your home.
