Public-Private Partnerships (P3)
Hudson Valley Wireless holds active public-private partnerships with most county governments in the New York Capital Region. The structure is straightforward: the public partner supplies access and commitment, we supply the network, the capital and the people who run it.
How a partnership is structured
- The public partner provides access to rooftops, towers, poles and sites
- Hudson Valley Wireless designs, funds, builds and operates the network
- Residents and businesses buy service directly from us
- Anchor connections are built into government facilities as part of the design
- The municipality gets coverage without running an internet company
What we have already built this way
Networks into government centers, Public Safety Answering Points, Emergency Operations Centers and Municipal Control Centers across the Capital Region. That experience is the reason our deployments carry less risk and reach service faster than a first-time build.
Where a conversation starts
A site assessment, a list of the roads your residents complain about, and an honest answer about which of them we can reach from existing infrastructure and which need new sites. We would rather tell you that in the first meeting than in the third.
